Altimaster Field Support Program

Alti-2 strives to provide first rate customer service and we always looking for ways to improve. We are implementing a field support program to overcome two problems, 1) supporting customers on DZ's that we do not visit on a regular basis and 2) supporting Neptune owners who may not be comfortable with upgrading their units to take advantage of the latest software version. The program will cover all Altimaster products.
We are looking for skydivers who would like to work with us and be our representative on their local DZ. There are rewards for working with us, but we are looking for jumpers who have the desire and ability to help other jumpers on their DZ.
Altimaster Field Support participants are discouraged from selling Altimaster products, this program is intended to support our existing dealers.
If this is of interest to you, please read the requirements below and if you think that this is something that you want to do, please write to us and tell us why. Some DZ's are already covered, and we can only accept one person per DZ, so please don't be offended if you are not selected.

The field support representatives must;
  • be a DZ "regular" who will be on the DZ most weekends,
  • have time to talk to Altimaster owners, they are unlikely to be DZ owners, instructors, or anyone who has to earn a living on the DZ, they have enough to do already (there may be exceptions).
  • have a laptop with IrDA port and be very comfortable with computer setup,
  • be prepared to upgrade Neptunes and advise owners on setup questions,
  • be prepared to provide routine feedback by e-mail (approximately every 14 days),
  • provide immediate feedback if owners are experiencing any problems,
  • keep details of beta software and other advance information confidential.
We will provide;
  • latest versions of code for beta testing,
  • software support tools,
  • T shirt,
  • Altimaster promotional materials,
  • a list of support representatives on our website with contact information,
  • significant discounts on Altimaster altimeters for your personal use.
