Got it! I downloaded the latest drivers for OSX from http://www.ftdichip.com/

Working great now.

Congratulations!

BTW the board says you posted at 2 AM - say it isn't so!

Yep! I was up until 2; working and trying to figure out how to get the N3 to work with OSX while I was uploading files to an FTP.

The problem was that the driver found in the forum is not compatible with Snow Leopard.

Do you have Snow Leopard (10.6)? If so, did you get it on a new Mac, or did you upgrade to it? If not, what version of OSX do you have?

Exactly which driver did you install? I went to the link and there are all sorts of options. Thanks! Simon

I got it to work also, by installing this driver:

http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP/MacOSX/UniBin/FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_2_14.dmg

Hello Simon,

Here goes the N3 driver.

Regards,

EDIT: Newer driver found on page 2 of this thread and in the downloads section of the forum.

I have an updated driver for N3 and N3A working on my MacBook under Snow Leopard. I have a few messages out looking for help testing it.

It is an install package inside a disk image. I will email it to whoever is interested.

The updated driver works great, tested it with a MacBook under Snow Leopard 10.6.2, Paralog 5.2.11 and N3 6.0.2

I'm attaching the driver, it's also found in the downloads section.
