I'd appreciate some help solving connection problems.

My Neptune is 2.6.1 B rel. Recently I decided to upgrade it with new firmware.

I have one notebook PC with build in IrDA port and Neptune connects through it to Paralog or NMU without any problem.
Unfortunately my new notebook has no built-in IrDA port therefore I use USB-IrDA adapter since I want to use this notebook instead of old one for jumps logging.

Here I face problem connecting Neptune to Paralog to logg my jumps and NMU1 for updating Neptune software :(

I attached two screenshots - hopefully they could give some ideas about the issue.

In general USB-IrDA external adapter works fine, for example it connects the mobile phone to PC easily.

Moreover, my Neptune has strange logbook entry - lets say my last jump is No 2105 , date 5/ 7/2009 , but if I press Next, it shows non existing jump 2106 dated 6/ 5/2007 ! And when I press NEXT once more, it goes to jump No 1851 (first record available in Neptune) with date 6/ 5/2007 - the same date as non-existing jump 2106. So this "phantom" jump record has the date of first, but number of last+1 jump!
Also strange, that my Neptune holds 255 jumps only in spite I use it longer.

When I continue jumping, this "non existing extra jump" always moves forward to Last jump+1.
How to correct it - probably this may cause connection problems as well?

Hopefully my description is clear enough :)

Blue Skies!

p.s. the new notebook runs Win XP SP2, USB-IrDA adapter is Delock 61435 (http://www.delock.com/produkte/gruppen/Bluetooth+Produkte/USB_Bluetooth_and_Infrared_adapter_61435.html?setL anguage=EN)

Try downloading the new NMU (http://forum.altimaster.com/showthread.php?t=536). The NMU you used to use is probably no longer compatible with your shiny new software :)
