Problem Connecting Neptune

Hello - I'm trying to update my 2.6.1D to a Thinkpad T43. The IR port seems fine but I receive 'Neptune not found'. I don't see an option to set on the Neptune for IR connection. The s/n is G50250. I'm using a new battery. I'm using the NMU 1 application.

Any suggestions?

What type of IrDA are you using?
Have you been able to connect anything else to your computer with your IrDA?
Have you ever connected your Neptune using a different IrDA or computer?

Did you install the IrCOMM2k 1.2.1 software?

Did you look under Log Book? It's at the bottom of that screen, just above Exit.

You should hear beeps coming from Neptune once you select IR Connect - do you?
