I m having some issues connecting. I am trying to run on a labtop with a Ir adapter that is said to be working in the device manager. The OS is Windows 2000 Professional. I cant find if the IrCOMM2000 is compatable with this OS. On the Paralog website t is noted as being compatable. Anyone using the Win2000 Pro OS for connecting the NMU and the Neptune...
Makes me just want to buy a N3 with the USB connection after the frustrations of the connect. When is that coming out??
Thanks

I had IrComm2k 1.2.1 running on my Windows 2000 Pro installation at home, but that was months ago. Win2k isn't running on anything I have access to these days. It's always possible some Microsoft Update broke the compatibility, and I have no way of testing for it. Maybe someone who sees this is still running Win2k and can help us all out.
We test NMU for compatibility with XP and Vista. It "should" run on Windows 2000. Does it? NMU does not use IrCOMM2k.
Is your Ir adapter built into the laptop? If it is external, have you tried another adapter?

OK, I just updated the Neptune to the new version software through the update. I connected and was able to get the time and date to sync with the computer time and date with the NMU as well as getting stuff I want on the Neptune fromt he computer. We will have to see how it works after a few jumps....
I gave up on trying to save the data from the previous jumps and will just start fresh..
Thanks for the help..
