View Full Version : Connection keeps dropping

After connecting to the NMU, the connection drops after 5 to 10 seconds.
Notable steps taken/stats
-Battery is brand new (U300 L284 T264)
-Update to 3.1.1 downloaded flawlessly
-After NMU disconnects the Neptune freezes showing "Transferring Data to the Host"
~Sometimes the screen will show an error code of "aborted"
-I'm running WindowsXP
-After connection is made the status bar in the NMU shows "Error while reading settings: CSC: returned code 0*


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One possible problem occurs if you hit the connect button before the computer has recognized your Neptune. An icon should appear at the bottom of your screen letting you know when this happens.

Could you walk me through the process? Do I need to:
1) hit "IR connect" on the Neptune
2) wait for my computer to recongnize my neptune
3) hit "connect" on tne NMU?

That is exactly what you should do.

Another thing you can try is using a different ir adaptor if you can find someone else that has one.

If neither of these solutions helps please let me know and at that point I would have you fill out an RMA report and send the Neptune back to us.
