Hi everyone, it's Lara, alive and kicking in Virginia, where it is snowing, yippee!
Hey Lara - nice to hear from you again!
Snowing! It's painful to skydive when it's snowing.
I think it was 80 degrees here, today.
Of course I could still see the snow on top of Big Bear from the DZ...

Man, tough crowd! I thought the point was to check in, not torture me with your freakishly balmy weather. My fading tan weeps silently.
It's cold and snowy and I like it! :p

Well Lara, you have to get through your first "Easter Storm" yet. Sometime between early February and late March, you get a huge Nor'easter that dumps a foot or more of snow in the western part of the state... and coats I-95 with enough ice to cool off Florida. The thing to do is, of course, get into a vehicle that goes in snow and PLAY in it!
I saw the first "Severe Weather Alert" of Fire Season here - "... The National Weather Service has determined that conditions in your area are favorable for ... " and then they go on to tell you that do to dry conditions, lightning could strike without much rain falling and your neighboorhood would burn down.
Well, it's snowing, and -20 up here.
There's a group of us from winnipeg driving down to probably North Carolina this weekend. You should join us!!
We were going to go to Texas, but the forcast looks crappy. NC looks pretty good, even though it's a bit further (27.5 hrs each way)

Sunny and 80 degrees or snowing and 20, there's no substitute for a large Margarita in the hot tub!
A large Margarita is always appropriate - even in the snow. And your hot tub is so toasty warm, I think it'd be really nice where Lara is, right now.
