Hi,
I bought a new Neptune some weeks ago. It was not yet a Neptune II on my dealers shelf, but together with a field support member he upgraded it to version "3.0.something" before selling it to me.
I than upgraded it myself to Rel. 3.1.0 D without problems.
Today I made my first jumps with it. On the day of purchase I set clock and calender, entered the cumulative times from my last 300 jumps and set next jump to 301.
My 4 jumps today were correctly logged as jumps # 301, 302, 303 and 304.
First curiosity is the date in the jumplog:
Today is 8-12-07 (international format) and the date amd time are correct since mid November when I programmed everything.
But: when I look into the logbook it shows the date as: "8-0-08" (after switching to USA date format it says: "0/8/08") so month is zero instead 12 and year is 08 instead 07. Does it adds "1" to month and year and does it switches from "13" to "0" instead to "1" on the month display?
But why adding the "1" at all?
Next problem:
I can only view the detailed log of the last jump (#304).
How can I view the other logs?
Yes, I read the manual and I chose Menu/Log Book/GoTo 304 and changed the 00304 to 00301 and selected "OK" and selected "View 301" (2 lines above "GoTo 301" in the Log Book menu. But pressing the middle button on "View 301" just presents me the data of #304 still!
Only once I was able to view the data of #301 by somehow using the up and/or down button in the detailed view, but now I can't reproduce it to view something other than jump #301.
If I go back to the menu and than again to the detailed view I end up again in viewing the latest jump (#304).
Is this a mistake of version 3.1.0?
Or only a mistake of only my Neptune?
Or am I doing something wrong?
By the way, even if it worked, to enter the full 5 digit jump number and all the menu buttons for viewing the details of some last jumps (maybe the jumps of the day for entering them into a (paper) logbook) is very complicated. There should be an "next" and "previous" option at the end of the detailed view.
